▪️ 1973 - at the entrance to Zaporozhye opened ethno-restaurant "Cossack Watch", which became one of the most popular in the city
▪️ 1980 - Zaporizhzhya sluice was put into operation
▪️ 1986 - Oberhausen, Germany, became a sister city of Zaporizhia
▪️ 1993 - Khortytsia Reserve was granted national status.
▪️ 1996 - lightning struck the Zaporizhzhya oak
▪️ 2001 - Phaeton Motorcycle Club was founded
▪️ 2004 - opening of the Fountain of Life on Mayakovsky Square.
