Swamp "Black Forest"

Hydrological natural monument of national importance in Ukraine, the southernmost in Ukraine sphagnum bogs. Located within Znamensky district of Kirovograd region, within the forest "Black Forest", which is northwest of the city Znamianka.

Swampy lake is located near the highway KyivDnipro. Swamp area of 2 hectares. Conservation status granted to preserve the lake by name Berestuvate (Black) and adjacent wetlands. In the swamp area mosses, horsetails, ferns and other water-loving plants are located. The lake is inhabited by carp.
