The palace at Old Merciuc is the oldest noble estate on the Left Bank, the beginning of which in the end of 17 century was the construction of a large manor house. Over time, this palace complex grew up with a large park, a pond, gazebos, an artificial grotto and the Church of All Saints. The magnificence of the palace was compared with the residence of the French kings, calling it "Slobozhansky Versailles". Today the palace needs serious restoration work.
