In 1624 the elder L.Kalinovskyi founded the Dominican monastery, which later, in the XVIII century. was added by the Transfiguration Cathedral.
The church decorated with baroque architecture was included in fortification system of Mury. In 1832 the church was deputed to the Orthodox priesthood and it was named the Orthodox church.
