Visiting Putyvl for the first time, many tourists look with interest at the romantic ruins of a medieval castle. In fact, these are the remains of a former water tower!
The appearance of one of the visiting cards of the city really reminds the tower of some medieval fortress, certainly full of legends. But from the locals you will learn that this is a technical structure that was built at the end of the XIX century, and its age can be called modest. By the way, according to other sources, its appearance dates back to 1910.
Unfortunately, throughout the century, no one has been involved in the restoration of this monument, so now its condition is in emergency.
