Boguslavsky granite outcrop

Exposure is a stratotype of Boguslav granites of the Zvenigorod complex of the Archean age. Scientists estimate that the age of these rocks reaches 2 billion years. Rocks of red and gray granite reach a height of 10-12 m and form a canyon 1.5 km long. Here you can often see picturesque river rapids, among which there is a deep bath, the same “pit.” There are two smaller ones nearby. in which you can take hot tubs.

In 1994, the Boguslav Granite Outcrop with a total area of ​​4 hectares was recognized as a geological monument of local significance, and in 2010 it was included in the Boguslavl Regional Landscape Park.

Locals call the Boguslav granite outcrop a place of strength because they say granite transmits energy well.
