A two-story residential building with rich architectural decorations was connected by an underground passage with an office building with a neo-renaissance mansard. Now in different rooms of the Sukhanov estate there is the Institute of Applied Physics, offices of the Academy of Banking and one of the subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In the premises of the library of the Academy of Banking, the exposition "Sukhanov family in Sumy" is locted which tells about the life and charity of the Sukhanov family.
