Odesa cultural and recreational complex "Nemo" is located in the city center, on the beach "Langeron". It includes a dolphinarium, an aquarium and a hotel.
About the place
Opened in 2005 by the International Children's Day. The complex complies with international standards, the keeping of marine mammals meets all the requirements of the conventions. Large showroom is opened in a warm season and accommodates up to 900 spectators (closed in winter, accommodates 600 spectators). Visitors are invited to swimming with dolphins, and to the dolphin therapy sessions. Oceanarium's exhibition consists of two sections. The aquarium is presented with limnetic and marine water inhabitants, more than 100 species of fish and 50 species of invertebrates. The basis of Exotarium has become a long-term collection of S.Duz, which includes more than 40 species of amphibians and reptiles and more than 60 species of terrestrial invertebrates, as well as one of the best in tropical butterflies collection in Ukraine, which includes more than 1,000 copies.
