The Temple was built in the XVIII century with the funds of the countess-philanthropist Branytska who gave a vow to build 12 Orthodox churches.
The Temple of St. Mary Magdalene is built in classical style, its bell tower is attached directly to it. During Soviet rule it was one of the few acting temples of Bila Tserkva.
