Museum is located in the southwestern part of the winery in the picturesque Cherry Manor, where over the past twenty years (1861-1881) lived and worked an outstanding scientist, brilliant surgeon, anatomist, creator of military field surgery, founder of the Red Cross, fine teacher and social activist Mykola Pyrohov.
The museum exposition is located in 10 halls and in the house-pharmacy. The manuscripts, publications of scientific works of the famous surgeon, surgical instruments, personal items are telling us about the scientist’s life. The trees, which were planted by Pyrohov, grow around estate. In 1.5 km from the house, in the chapel-mausoleum the embalmed body of famous surgeon rests for already 125 years.

Ми вражені чистотою, красотою та інформативністю музею! Прекрасно збережені експонати занурюють в часи життя лікаря. Шкода тільки, що всі експонати ми з чоловіком вивчали самостійно...гід нам не проводив екскурсію...напевно тому, що ми були єдині відвідувачі. Рекомендую обов'язково відвідати ще й аптеку, бо в ній гід дуже цікаво та захоплююче розказує не тільки про лікарські засоби, а й цікаві факти з життя Миколи Івановича. Пориньте в прекрасний сад навколо садиби - він зачаровує з першого погляду!
