There is our own Switzerland in Rivne Oblast (region) which is called Nadsluchanska. They call the regional landscape park situated in the North of Rivne Region in such way. According to the legend, a noble foreign woman is a reason for this. Being born in Switzerland, she admitted that local beautiful landscapes resembled her the Motherland. Indeed, this place is famous with mighty and wild (sometimes calm enough) Sluch River, picturesque mountains called Sokolyni, mysterious ruins of the castle, ancient legends and cozy farmsteads.
«Nadsluchanskyi» Regional Landscape Park is an ideal place for those who want to take a break from the urban bustle. There are some fun activities for adventure travelers. Besides swimming or fishing one can float on boats; for the connoisseur of antiquity since it is a place of Slavonic ancient settlements; as well as for gourmets who will for sure like the Polissia delicacies.
