Nikopol Local History Museum

Founded in 1919 as a Museum of Fine Arts on the basis of a meeting of a local nobleman-collector Nechaev, from 1929 – a modern name. He was in the house-monument of the beginning of history. XX century. Which is now on reconstruction and restoration. The collection of the museum consists of 33 thousand Museum items: interesting natural collections, archaeological monuments (ceramics of the times of the Eneolithic, Bronze and Scythian periods); household items, ethnographic items, in particular peasant clothes, ceramic and wooden utensils; relics of the Zaporozhye Cossacks, artistic works; material, photographic and documentary materials on the history of the Nikopol land of the XIX – XXI centuries.
