Center for Folk Art "Petrikovka"

Bright and original "Petrykivka" is a center of creativity preserving traditions and impressing with talented artists.

More than four dozen masters gathered here, most of which belong to the ranks of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. The center was created in 1991.

The most widespread products are made from wood. Petrykivskyi painting style is a collection of basic colors and ornaments, with numerous variations. Most often, Petrykivskyi painting is used to decorate souvenir dishes or plain dishes, as well as products from paper, cardboard or canvas. Today, talented craftsmen offer furniture decorated with Petrykivskyi painting.

Craftsmen and craftswomen from Petrykivka are engaged in the development of author drawings based on well-known painting foundations. Twenty years of work of the center made it famous not only in the country but also abroad.

Tourists who come to Petrikivka, can find and buy souveniers at the exhibition, can participate in the master class Petrykivskyi painting or order an excursion.
