The name of the park was given because there were may roses in the park before. Now a few roses left , but the Valley of Roses - a great place for a picnic on the grass, playing sports or walking.
There are several artificial mini lakes with fountains in the middle, mostly low trees and neatly trimmed bushes. Large trees also grow from the side of the Dnieper. Especially good view of the "Valley of Roses" is from othe nearby Castle Hill. Along the narrow, winding alleys, small stones studded on both sides there are large comfortable benches that serve as resting place. It should be noted that during the celebration of certain festivals "Valley of Roses" is always in the middle of the events. The special feature of the park is a huge bronze sundial in the form of a bird, a diameter of 15 meters. It was set up in 2012. As a clockwise there is a large crane, but instead of numbers - twelve chairs like allusion to the legendary novel by Ilf and Petrov.
The park is one of the favorite places of citizens. In recent years, it is used for citycelebrations and festivals. Near the park there is a popular city beach.
