The windows of the ground floor are framed with ornaments resembling chocolate leaflets used for decorating cakes. Over the windows of the first floor are mascarons representing dog's heads. According to legend, they are the «portraits» of the favourite pet of the former owner of this house, S.Mogiliovtsev, who was a timber merchant, benefactor, and passionate hunter.
