Smila city museum of local lore

The treasure of historical heritage, just so one can say about a city museum, which is centrally located in the centre of the city in a building which is an architectural monument of the early XX century and belongs to the style of late modernism.

September 10, 1910 in this building there was opened the branch of Saint - Petersburg account and loan bank. By decision of the executive committee of Cherkasy Regional Council of 19.04.1990 № 76, the building is an architectural monument of regional importance, which is under state protection.

Since 1985, this building has the city museum.
