Botieve wind power station has a significant environmental effect: annually, the plant's operation allows to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere by about 730,000 tons of CO2 – the same amount of CO2 365 thousand cars produce annually.
Over 20 years of operation of the wind plant, it will be possible to save a quantity of coal the size of the Hoverla mountain.
The length of the blade is 55 m. The surface area spinned by the blades of one wind turbine is 1 hectare, which is a size that is almost equal to the area of the football field. The overall height of the structure is 149 m.
A tourist can inspect the wind power plant during the excursion, when a person will visit the dispatching control center of the wind farm. The tour also includes a visit of the turbines and the wind turbine tower.
