Vinnytsia Regional Museum of Local History

Methodical and conservation center of the eastern Podil region. The Museum's collection has more than 100 thousands of pieces, including a unique collection of gold ornaments of the Bronze Age and Sarmatian period, represented at six international exhibitions.

About the place

The museum is very famous for its numismatic and ethnographic collections, a collection of minerals and weapons. As part of the museum there is a library, founded in 1920.Its pre-war fund had been destroyed in 1943. Modern collection contains more than 10.5 thousand of pieces of the end XVIII - beginning of the XXI century. Mostly in Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.
