The museum is very famous for its numismatic and ethnographic collections, a collection of minerals and weapons. As part of the museum there is a library, founded in 1920.Its pre-war fund had been destroyed in 1943. Modern collection contains more than 10.5 thousand of pieces of the end XVIII - beginning of the XXI century. Mostly in Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.
