The museum-diorama is located in the building of the Ascension Cathedral (1695-1700).
On the artistic-documentary canvas 28x7 meters the authors with photographic precision reflected the moment of Soviets crossing the Dnieper and fighting on the right bank to create the Bukrin bridgehead, from which it was planned to liberate Kyiv.
