A commemorative sign in honor of the student resistance movement in the summer of 2004 against the unification of three local universities into a single Sumy National University.
Then the action of Sumy students "No to SNU!" shocked not only the city, but the whole country, and the march to Kyiv became the Ukrainian classic of protest. The monument was opened for the 350th anniversary of Sumy in 2004. The author is Sumy sculptor Alexei Shevchenko.
