The regional landscape park is an etalon of landscape and biological development of the forest steppe. The park is a nature conservation, recreational, cultural-sanctuary, scientific-pre-modern setting, which is created with the aim of preserving, creating and effective protection of natural complexes and creating health-improving culture, natural Area — 23200.0 hectares.
Roztashovany at Kobelyatsky district of Poltava region. On the territory of the park there are 901 species of higher vascular plants, 4 of which are included in the European Red List of Plants, and 19 in the Red Book of Ukraine. There are 220 species of terrestrial vertebrates here, of which 9 are amphibians, 9 are reptiles, 170 are birds and 42 are mammals. 22 species are regionally rare, 16 species are included in the Red Book of Ukraine. There are also 5 types of fish.
