Rocks of MOPR

The cliffs received the status of a nature monument in 1975. The array is spread over 62 hectares, where travelers can observe unique openings of iron ore. This area refers to the section of the Kryvy Rih-Kremenchug province of the Ukrainian Crystal Shield, which actually explains its uniqueness. The age of the rocks of MODR is really impressive – it reaches up to 2,050 million years.

Individual names can prevail two rocks of the array. The first, "Eagle Nest", is located in the village of Lower Antonivka – on the right bank of the Ingults. Another, "Small Orlynka", is located in the left-bank part – near a small grotto. It was in this area that ancient Scythians and Slavs-Uchiha were engaged in the extraction of ore.

It is worth visiting the rocks of MODR due to their original beauty, which reminds Ukrainian Carpathians many . During the walks you can see wonderful views from different heights, and the highest mark is 50 m.
