Roaring Threshold Waterfall

0 4 0

Roaring Threshold waterfall was indeed one of the rapids on the Dnipro river, but disappeared after the construction of the Zaporizhzhya hydro-electric power station. Today this name is given to the decorative waterfall, which was created to honor the glory of the Ukrainian Kozaks, who easily overcame the deadly rapids of the Dnipro river on their maneuverable ships. The opening of the waterfall was held only recently – in 2013. In height, it reaches 17 meters, in width – 20. Nearby is the largest in Ukraine monument to Taras Shevchenko.
