Velykyoburluk steppe

0 1 0

"It is a historical homeland of the marmot Timka, which predicts Ukrainians the arrival of spring. For a long time the steppes were persistently destroyed by planting trees, bombarding the virgin soil, flooding "unusable" land under the reservoir. As a result, the population of wildlife in the area was progressively reduced. To preserve the beauty and the diversity of the living world in Ukraine natural reserves were established. Thanks to the Velikoburlucsky Landscape Park a number of amusing Ukrainian marmots were saved and settled in different Ukrainian natural reserves. You can visit the Great Steppe by booking an excursion or on your own. Through ecotourism you will have the opportunity to explore the life of rare plants and animals of the steppe and forest-steppe zones (the Burlucki Steppe presents several dozens of plants and fauna species), admire the magnificent views of the wild steppe and forest-steppe, observe the marmots in their natural environment. Here you can pick up healing steppe herbs and, of course, make wonderful photos to remember the trip."
