Fountain «Sadko»

One of the symbols of the city of Sumy – cascade fountain "Sadko" – was built in 1985, and in 2010 it was restored. At night, the artificial pond is illuminated

About the place

Designing a bronze sculpture, Yevhen Kulikov took the epic about the Slavic hero Sadko as a basis for this sculpture.

Around the fountain there are benches, and from the top platform a stunning panorama of Kharkivska street opens. Near the fountain there is a building of the XIX century, a former women's gymnasium, and today – the Ukrainian Academy of Banking
