It was built in 1954-1955. The dam reaches 3.8 km, part of which is a picturesque embankment, which, by the way, is a completely pedestrian zone and the transport of vehicles is prohibited here. From the waterfront there is a view of the Zaporizhzhya Energy Complex of the NPP-CHP Plant.
