Kremenchuk Plavni Regional Landscape Park

0 4 0

Kremenchug floodplains are a unique low-transformed section of the Middle Dnieper, where the untouched landscape, riverbed and floodplain have been preserved, ie the main features of the primitive river. Scientists have proven that people never settled here. On the island of Shelamai you can see the Archean granites, which are 2.7 billion years old. They are silent witnesses to the origin of life on our planet. The flora of the Kremenchug floodplains is rich and diverse. Among the unique representatives of natural flora that grow in the park are: Borisova stonecrop, listed in the World Red List, Ukrainian goats from the European Red List, three species of plants listed in the Red Book of Ukraine and 16 regionally rare plant species.
