Kharkiv State Academic Puppet Theater named after V.A. Afanasyeva

Apart from the fact that it is in the very heart of Kharkiv, on the square of the Constitution, it occupies the premises of a former bank, built on the project of the famous architect O. Beketov.

Kharkiv State Academic Theater of Dolls named after V.A. Afanasyev, with the only museum of theatrical dolls in Ukraine, takes up the premises of the former commercial bank of Volga-Kama, architectural monuments of the early twentieth century, in theater's repertoire performances for children and adults, and in the collection of the theatrical museum more than 11 thousand copies, which gives an idea of the full variety of the doll world.
