Bubbly sands are the only semi-desert in the Kharkiv region (sometimes this area is also called the Kharkiv or Kitsiv Desert). Sandy deposits resembling dunes were formed on the site of the former tank ground. The "Desert" attracts fans of extreme racing on impassability, as well as those who prefer hiking.
