Izyumsky Local Lore Museum named after M.V. Sibilova

The museum preserves the Holy Gospel in silver with a golden cover – the gift of Peter the First to Izyum Preobrazhenski Cathedral, edition of 1707; A beautiful collection of numismatics with a number of rare coins; archaeological collection; paintings and many other rare things.

The museum holds materials on the history of the region for various periods – from the ancient settling in the XVII century. to the present. Among the exhibits is the Holy Gospel of Peter the Great, numismatic and archaeological collections, documents on the history of the Izyum Slobodsky Cossack Regiment.
